Merry Christmas & more from Torbay Tennis Club

Hello all.

Merry Christmas from Torbay Tennis Club.

Coming up we have a few things. Firstly, our club tennis party is coming on Wednesday the 10th of December, 6:30 pm.

Bring a plate (with some food on it). Dress merry, dress Christmassy. We will have a prize for the best-dressed. Fun games and jolly good social vibes as we celebrate the season on and off the court! Don’t miss out on the annual hit the ball at the president competition, or other such festive games. It’s fun.

Coming up for juniors is the December holiday programme with Jason. Monday 15th – Friday 19th December, 9 am – 12 pm.

Ages 5–16: members $45 per day / $200 per week. Non-members $55 per day / $250 per week. See flyer attached for more details.

Also a big shout-out to all those who played in the annual working bee. You know who you are. It was a great score and we won the weeding, fixing stuff, laying drainage coil competitions hands down. Good news to all those that missed out is that it went so well that we are going to do it again next year. See you then. The courts are looking so much better. Nice photos are on the website. Maybe.

Don’t forget to drop off any of your unwanted tennis stuff into the box in the clubhouse for the Tonga Tennis Appeal. It will be collected on the 19th December. So far there are 2 things in it.
