Interclub at Torbay Tennis Club

Interclub is a commitment to play for a team from mid-September through to March with a break over the Christmas/New Year period.

Summer Interclub

Runs approximately from September until April each year, with a break over the Christmas/New Year period.

2020 – 2021 Interclub Season:
5th September until 12th December 2020
13th February until 17th April 2021 

Mixed Doubles

Teams of 8, made up of 4 men and 4 women. One doubles and one mixed doubles match is followed by afternoon tea provided by the host club.
Matches are fortnightly at 1pm on Saturdays.

Women’s Doubles

Doubles teams of 4 women play 2 doubles matches each.
7pm Thursday evenings.

Men’s Doubles

Doubles teams of 4 men play 2 doubles matches each.
7pm Thursday evenings.

Women’s Singles

Singles teams of 4 women play one singles and one doubles match.
Women play Wednesday, 6pm start.

Men’s Singles

Singles teams of 4 men play one singles and one doubles match.
Men play Monday or Tuesday, 6pm start.

Midweek Ladies Interclub

Starts in October and continues to March.

Teams of 4 women play 2 doubles matches each on Monday or Tuesday morning starting at 9.30am.
Lunch is provided by the host team.

Junior Interclub

Junior Interclub starts in October and finishes in March.

Last year we had two teams entered in the Tennis Northern competitions – U15B Boys and U12B Boys. The U12B Boys team won their grade post-Christmas.

To join an Interclub team you must be a Full Adult or Junior Member (Interclub).
